The head is built from stock styrene sheet, using kitparts to get the correct shape. The clear hemis are plastruct dishes. |

The side guns are built from 2 main kits : the Tamiya Flakvierling38 and the Flak 36/37 88 mm gun. The rear plate is from the KV I, with several 1/12 Formula one bits. |
. The chin guns are made from kit parts and brass barrels. The barrels can be animated to simulate the recoil of them just like the original model.

AT-ST stop motion model - Building the head
The head of the AT-ST is pretty tricky to get right. The original head was vacformed, I just used styrene sheet to build mine. Only the left side of this model was finished because it was only filmed from this hero side. The non hero side was less detailed and I chose to replicate that with my model.
